Bengt Ek Design was founded by Bengt Ek, the internationally renowned designer, in Switzerland in 1976, producing clocks and timers. In 1995 the company's main office moved to Sweden. The company only makes products designed by Bengt Ek, including novelty, contemporary and retro timers (both mechanical and digital), bathroom and kitchen scales, thermometers, weather stations, clocks and torches. Finishes include chrome, stainless steel and aluminium, and all items are beautifully packaged in stylish matt black gift boxes. Bengt Ek's products have been exhibited at the Museums of Modern Art in New York and Tokyo and he has received many international design awards - easy to see why. |
